Are there any villas that I could get with points? I need something where a family of small kids can run around inside and outside.

Going to Tampa this weekend. Has anyone ever been at The Westin Tampa Bay or Sheraton Sand Key Resort? I'm trying to decide which SPG property to stay at. Just going to be there for the weekend.

Thanks!

Thanks! I'm still undecided...The Westin seems more centrally located, but I'm leaning toward the Sheraton Sand Key as I'm most likely not going to want to go anywhere anyway on such a short trip. May as well stay on the beach!

Not sure this is the right thread... I recently left a pair of prescription goggles at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Riverview. If anyone will be in the area in the next few weeks and doesn't mind picking it up, I'd greatly appreciate it. Please PM me (Hotel can ship it for $40 -that's more than the goggles cost) TIA

PSA/FYI: https://thepointsguy.com/guide/hotels-obligations-during-red-tide-outbreak-hfxtpn/

"Following one of the worst red tide outbreaks in the last 10 years in 2019 and a follow-up “bloom” in 2019 in Sarasota County and elsewhere in Florida, red tide is once again back along stretches of the state’s Gulf coast around St. Pete, Tampa and Sarasota. It’s covering parts of the powder-fine beaches here with piles of dead fish in places and impacting beach-goers with side effects that include potential respiratory irritation.

A July 30, 2021, red tide status update by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reported red tide at high concentrations in the week prior at beaches in Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte counties, with background to low and medium concentrations reported to the south in Lee and Collier counties."

I am trying to figure out the Kosher restaurant options in Tampa. Looks like Chabad and a pizza place from Google. Anyone have any more recent insight?

When I was there, pizza place wasn't chalav yisroel. If that's something important to you, check B4.
Don't know of a/t else (David's deli isn't really a restaurant but does have some shwarma, schnitzel...)
