Starting from September 2018 there is a direct train line between the airport and Jerusalem's central bus station which is at the main entrance to the city.

To get to the train: Leave the terminal through exit 01 and it is directly on your right. You can buy a ticket from the automatic machines outside the station entrance.
Please note that the train only runs during the day and not at night. Check the Israeli rail  website in advance if you are not sure.

Any one know any private driver who has a larger enough van to hold 4 people and around 7-8 suitcases to the airport?  Dont like using the regular taxis..not too nice alot of times with so many bags and always pulls out random charges.
Rent a Mazda5 $72 total? I don't know what the going price for a larger taxi is.

Thanks but I don't like driving to airport. Hate dealing with retuning the car and everything before a flight.

It actually includes the AP fee, but regardless I believe it's a good rate considering that it's a 1 day rental. CMIIW.

I don't live in israel and i'm not familiar with the different names. I remembered seeing a thread with negative info about daka90 so I linked to it when I saw your post.

Names make a difference.

Well then had I written daka 99 you would have had no idea which thread to link, as the thread there is discussing some unknown wrong taxi company called daka 90........

Had yuneeq been around when that thread was written boy would they have gotten it over the head.

So as I said I think evreyone with common sense figured out what company I was talking about.

But yes thank you for your corrections!

Sorry but I think your are a bit confused. The daka 90 thread that you referred too is the same taxi company I was referring too. So yes you got the correct thread. However the proper name for that company is that daka 99 and not daka 90 as many people refer to it.

Thank you and next topic please.

This past trip to the airport I used shmuel lieberman 052 463 2100 he is a heimish american guy who lives here.  He charges per person but 300 is minimum.  Van can fit around 10 suitcases.  If your going alone it may not be worth it but more may be worth it.  May of been my best ride to the airport in 6 years.
I dont know if its available to all but he has the number to the guy who owns the large wagons that you can get when you land in BG and he calls him on the way and have someone wait for you by the van and when you get there the guy will take all your suitcases and bring it inside for 80 nis.
His brother runs a car service company in NY that if you need hell call and set up a time with him to pick you up from airport...pretty decent prices.
