Amex Free Gift Card Code (Works Great For US Mint Purchases!)

I did the free shipping trial and cancelled when the 3 months were up. Now I want to order 1 gift card ($25) for someone and don't want to have to pay lots of $$ for shipping, but I need it next day. Is there anyone who is still on the 3 month trial that can do me a favor and can order one for me to my address and I'll send you money ASAP??   Thanks

I ordered a $5000 gift card  (on my wife's CC) then I called up saying I received this gift card and don't agree with t&c...  The rep told me he would send me a check. Now I see they credited the purchase back to my wifes CC which I already paid off- so now I have a $5000 credit on my card, no points, and no $5000 (it's now a credit toward future spending) that I used to pay off the bill! I called and they said they had tried proccesing the check but it got denied. I explained that refunding the CC doesn't help me bec. I'm not the one who bought it. The rep advised me to call up the person who gave me the gift to ask them for another one- which I explained I would be terribly uncomfortable doing  .    I spoke to a supervisor who said he would escelate the matter and get back to me in 48 hours.   Did anuone else have this issue?

I dunno if you'll be able to reverse the CC refund, but I'm pretty sure the CC company where you have a negative balance will cut you a check.

Gah, according to Amex it's been 18 business days and they insist they won't do anything for me until it's 20 business days.

My bad... I now remember more like 20 B days. I had called at approx day #15 and asked about it.. they told me 20. Low and behold they arrived with a few days of #20.

They made me wait 20 business days and now the request was denied. They refuse to refund by check, will only refund to original form of payment (Chase Visa card). I even pleaded with a supervisor, to no avail.

Any suggestions?

What did you ask them?  Did you transfer the card to someone else and have them call for a refund check?

I transferred them to myself (different name) and said my uncle gave them to me and I'm leaving for Europe. They insisted the purchaser would have to call for a refund via the original payment option, even when I said it was embarrassing to go back to someone who gave me the gift cards and ask for a check.

It's over $6,000 and they did mention something about the amount. When I asked if a lower amount would be refunded by check they insisted that any amount is only refunded by the original form of payment.

I think it probably has to do with the amount.  Or maybe that you didn't actually transfer it?

How do you transfer it? Do you think it's too late to transfer it if I didn't do so the first time around?

Dunno, you can try calling to transfer it again, but your account is probably already notated not to refund.

Really, no banks in Brooklyn will take coins anymore?  What does Chase in CH say when you bring in coins?

IIRC, Chase limits to 10 rolls a day or something.

I think there are 2 branches in CH.
