I'm renting right now in Israel on a Chase CO MC World Business Card and MC Assist sent me a letter stating that they I am covered....the rate was only 89 shekel a day for a Hyundai Accent.....
is that a weekly rate? does that include taxes?

I find that hard to believe. will a letter help you if you need to make a claim if mc assist  is not in charge of your card??? I confirmed many times on the phones and I was sent letters that this card no longer covers Israel. they even gave me 2500 co miles as compensation for no longer covering israel
which dept. did you speak with to get the miles?

I called right when they changed the tc's and spoke to a few different reps. When they gave me the miles they said its for the hardship of having to deal with the issue I had. They are very into always saying when they give bonus miles that they are doing it because I had a hard time dealing with the issue with different reps etc. They are never maskim that your original issue was valid.

I have reservation with Budget at TLV for 18 days, Car group J (Mazda 3 or similar), base rate $11 + $14 3PL (which they claim is mandatory insurance).

1. Is this a good rate, or I'm overpaying? (in the event I'm overpaying, anyone to suggest a place with better rates?)

2. Is 3PL the only mandatory insurance, or I'm in for a surprise when picking up the vehicle?

3. I have 2 MC World Elite, Continental Chase and AAdvantage Citi, which is best for this rental? (I'd rather use CO for award purpose... if insurance wise they're the same)

looks like a good rate, you will be charged a $27 airport fee.

Hope this for unlimited km

otherwise i found ELDAN giving the best total price, on the israeli website
