booked a mileage ticket with ua on swiss, when i tried changing the return date they wanted to charge me an extra $75.00 for close in fee besides for the $75.00 changing fee (covered by amex plat),
since i have the ua club card from chase (annual fee of $395 waived, thanx dan) so that close in fee should be waived but they wouldn't hear of it claimed there's no mention of it on their website, was on the phone for about 2 hours being transferred from 1 deparment to another to this manger and that one but nothing doing, so much so that after returning home i sent a complaint and they sent me back an email that i'm wrong and its waived only for plat and 1k members, after taking a screen shot and attaching a link to prove my case they sent me back an email that they're really sorry for the inconvience caused and that im right and they will update all departments.
what can i request for compensation for all the "aggrevation" caused ?
