A friend just mentioned to me got 45k offer for Amex delta. Anybody hear about this or got link?

I am working on that, did the same thing and sent an sm to see if i can get matched. I will let you know if I end up getting it. It is now with the research dept.

Keep in mind, it was after 3k spend, unlike the 30k points after $500 spend.

Sorry for the stupid question, but if i close the amex delta i don't lose the miles, right? the miles are already in the delta FF account...before i close i want to be 100% sure and i don't see a clear answer anywhere...

Correct. The miles are safe.
