Looking for a LOUD alarm clock.
« on: July 01, 2011, 06:16:01 PM »
Anyone have any suggestions for a LOUD alarm clock?

Also was trying to find an alarm clock that sprays water, as i believe this would be very effective, but was only able to find DIY ones....

Any tips, links, metziyas?

I also had the sonic one.
I used the vibrate. It shook my whole bed.
Only problem is the display is too bright, so you need to put it face down. Also, it is junk. But, it lasted a while.

My Sonic vibrating one could be dimmed.

Mine also. Even the dimmest was way too bright. I just wanted to throw it out the window. Or turn it face down.

Facedown works too though. It also has this annoying high/low pitched sound which can be adjusted.

i just turn mine around and have it high and away on a shelf. it still is so loud that there's no way i'll sleep through it, AND it forces me out of bed to turn it off. had mine for about 9 months, still works fine.

I use an electrical Smoke Alarm (hard to find) which can wake a dead person.
Hold the test button in with a piece of scotch tape Attach it to a digital timer and yo';re good to go.
You can probably attache today's battery operated Smoke Alarms with to a low voltage adapter/transformer.

Got the alarm clock on the dd main site today, anyone have it here? Would want to know if it could get very loud. I really like the gradual lighting feature.
