DMZ zone is very cool. Are you staying overnight?

Considering.  Would like to know what's there or if I should just connect without a stopover.

I would try to just make a long stopover. They have tour companies that can take you from the airport to the DMZ and right back to the airport. We did that and it was very cool with zero hassle.

What was so cool about it? How much time do you need? Nothing worth seeing in ICN itself?
Typically a category 4 Park Hyatt is enough to make me spend the night if there is kosher food around :D

From my research, and I may be wrong Seoul isn't such a cool city, although for a night it could be worth it. The DMZ is cool because you get to see all these soldiers driving around in tanks securing this famous border. The history is kind of cool as well. We went to this empty train station which was just built in hope of reunification and it was interesting.

We also went to some Korean restaurant and go to watch all the locals eat their food on the floor with the shoes lined up neatly outside.

Can you share what your thinking of doing? From looking around it seems the only interesting thing to do is the DMZ tour.

Everyone who has been there tells me its a waste of time. I would avoid if possible

I had a 6 hour stopover last time and we just walked around the airport. Great shopping and a decent F Lounge

I will be in S Korea for 12 hour stopover in November.  Are there must see sites that I can make it too?  How far is the iarport from the town?  Any advice?  Kosher?

Thanks

Hour drive doesn't seem too bad. Where are some must see places? Any kosher restaurant?  Has anyone been there for jut 12 hours?

Any kosher restaurant?
The Rov can prepare a kosher meal, but restaurant would be an overstatement

How long is the DMZ trip from airport and back?

Anything else worth making a longer stop for?
