Any DP's on Dominican Republic?
I had problems in Punta Cana. Every bag was sent through a scanner. Cooked was fine but they took away raw chickens and meat, USDA label may have helped.

Yeah. All bags were scanned in Puerto Plata as well. Rules seemed pretty arbitrary though. They took away some cooked eggs, but after DW distracted them they let all of our Shabbos food through.

I flew out of POP, small airport, interesting policies. Ya, Punta Cana was also rather unofficial, we nearly snuck some by during the incident as well.

Does anyone have experience with traveling with food to "Dominica", its not the same country as the Dominican republic.
I found cheap united mile flights and IHG hotel to book on the island.

What are the food restrictions flying from Australia to NZ with food bought in Australia?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Beef only, 3kg pp. No chicken unless retorted. Needs to be manufacturer sealed with contents and country of origin clearly labeled. Dairy only if with no fresh fruit, 2kg pp. Everything else is the same rules as the U.S. They wanted to take away my beef jerky (U.S. origin) but I argued that it was shelf stable and allowed in. A supervisor agreed.

They were absolutely meticulous in my case, going through each and every label and weighing everything.

Daneli's in MEL can pack you up everything according to code.

No experience but officially you need a permit to bring in meat and some other random foodstuffs.
