HELP! Please Advise!
« on: January 20, 2013, 11:02:11 AM »
Hi,

I never had a credit card and I dont know if I have good credit.  I want to know how do I build my credit?  What is the best card to start with?  If I apply for the SP will I get approved?  Should I be an AU with someone? What is an AU even?  I heard a Capitol One card is good..is that true? But people are saying that its three hard pulls...is that a good thing or bad thing?  Im lost with all this, I just started reading up a few minutes ago and still dont have a clue whats going on!  ???  Whats better miles or CB?  Can I churn the Macys card or GAP card ??

Please can some one please spoon feed me all the info and search for me and tell me exactly how to build my credit and which credit cards I should apply for and when I should start churning. How often do people churn cards?  Like 5 minutes later?  What if they say no?  Do I call them up and tell them I really want the bonus?  Because I called Chase up and asked if I can buy my friends Chase UR points and they said no!

HELP! PLEASE ADVISE ME! I'M TOO LAZY TO SEARCH!

And I also got very jealous of a lot of members here asking the question..I felt left out.  For example: here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here.

Thank you so much.

I know it's been mentioned before, but I really think its time to only allow members with x amount of posts to start new topics.

If a new member feels that even though he isn't 'qualified' to start a new thread, he has something valuable to offer, he should be able to communicate with a mod and possibly get a one time mod-approval to start a new thread.

I would start with the American Express Centurion Card.
Na, That card is not a good first card, there is no sign up bonus.
