chivas 1 liter 12 yrs at BG Airport $47.
NYC retail at $45+ tax. why shlep
Delta on flight was $40 if I am not mistaken.

if you can please post comparison of items you know recent cost for, it would become a helpful guide.

IMHO there are very few things worth buying in Duty Free nowadays.

BG 5-pack $192 (intl cigs) = $47 a carton
On US/UA (maybe even DL, as its an American airline) it $37 a Carton (US Duty-Free)

For those living in Israel, duty free will be much cheaper than local.

There are also occasional sale. I bought a 15 yr Glenlivet for around $45 in Vienna last month. And I buy a Drambuie almost every time that I can.

df on the plan is almost always cheaper than the df stores

regular priced airport duty free is mostly a waste of time
