First of all: i keep hearing about SD what is it? (a website?)
Anyway not sure if this is a help.... With most ATT phones you can call them up, give them the IMEi number and they will provide you with an unlocking code, and then you can use any sim (GSM) with the phone. Though not sure about iphone. i have done this twice already recently. Good Luck!

probably tmobile, if you take an At&t phone which is not unlocked you should be able to see.

Does anyone know if the Verizon Blackberry 9930 will work on Straight talk? ( I mean the blackberry browser, bbm, etc... as well).

If not, will the T-Mobile Blackberry 9900 work on Straight talk?

Anybody with any experience??

Yes they throttle you after 2gb of data
Though. Also you have two choices either you can get an AT&T sim or Tmobile so they work on either network depending on the sim you choose. However recently they stopped carrying the AT&T sims you can still find them on amazon and eBay though for 3 times the price of the $15 it should be.

Because on ebay you can find the Blackberry 9930 fully Unlock it says you can use on any GSM network just have to insert a sim. So I was wondering if it can be used on Straight Talk? & If yes then which sim do I need to buy, the T-Mobile sim or the AT&T??

You can search o ebay & you will see fully unlocked Blackberry 9930???

Thanks.

From what Ive been told its only for fam phones the verizon is CDMA but may so have a slot for gsm in this case you may be better email straight talk directly though it seems from what I've read that's its gsm only. And AT&T has better service.

So your saying is that if I get a Blackberry 9930 that has a slot for GSM then it will definitely work?
If yes, what sim do I buy?

Also do you know if the 9900 & the 9930 is the same phone its just certain carriers for example T-Mobile DO NOT carry it. So there's is called the  9900?? Thanks.

I would recommend buying the standard  straight talk AT&T sim which only be got on amazon or eBay for right now as they offer much better service then tmobile. Usually different model numbers like 9900 and 9930 means its same phone but for a diff carrier.

That's what I'm trying to figure out if that's the case here with the 9900 & 9930. Also there's a lot of bids for 99 cents for the AT&T even though I've been hearing that you will basically have to pay $45 for them because Straight Talk made them extinct. But will see if I can win one.

Thanks for all your advice, truly appreciate it. Thanks.

many of the eBay ones say att bu, it's not straight talk rather net10.
Did a quick read though this and it seems Shreknit told u that bbm and browser will work? AFAIK, that's false. Only way to have bbm and bb email is if u buy the device from straight talk. They only sell one model now and it's not a bold.

I did write in the past how net10 and straight talk will alow u to bring ur own verizon phone. They canceled that option and now it's only a sim card.
Simple mobile offers bb service but it's tmobile and that's shvach.
There are phones from straight talk that do use Verizon service like the galaxy proclaim and the 1 bb they sell.
