It's really weird how ashkenazis think they know our customs. I was in an ashkenazi shul this past Shabbat and the Rabbi starts bashing sefardim that we have no mourning this year. I was going to confront him but my kids were driving me crazy and I had to leave.

Yes we will be shaving, showering and doing laundry. But we still do not listen to music or eat meat or buy new clothes. It's not our fault it falls out on a Sunday.

There are Sefardim who follow the Deah that it's only no meat shavua she chal Bo. I think the only difference to what people said is whether it is THE Sephardic custom or A Sefardic custom.

please show me a source. I am very familiar with Sephardic customs and never heard of that. There are many non-observant ones who will eat meat or as @zagguru said yemenites who eat meat. But it is not a shavua shechal bo thing. It is a 9 day thing or not there at all.

I think its yeminte custom to only have the week of.  But of the ones who now live in Israel, started keeping the whole 9 days. Its def a very small minority now

Interestingly enough when R' Ovadiah brings down the minhag not to eat meat during the 9 days he brings it down as Haminhag Po Ir Hakodesh Yerushalayim...

It's brought down in SA... I have to be Dan Le Kaf Zechut that the Sefardim I know who follow that view are right to be following the SA.

First impressions....
Meal obviously is fleishig actually smelled really good.... It was pasta with a meat sauce.... The Corn Salad was decent at best but the bread/pita was excellent the brownie was good too. Obviously dissapointed about the fleishig (Didn't try it because I am ashkenaz )

Where is the meal sourced from in DFW?
