4. Below average, but would eat if hungry (Stogel [fresh-frozen])
5. Average/typical KSML, would eat if hungry (Borenstein?)
6. Above average KSML (Borenstein?)
7. A good KSML, might even eat if not hungry.
8. A very good KSML
9. An excellent KSML, could pass for something served in a decent restaurant.
10. Top of the line KSML, would be happy eating this at a decent restaurant. (Hermolis)

I know they can't confirm, but will Lufthansa at least let you put in the request?

Thats as much as you can do. You'll find out soon enough. Have a backup plan (BYOK). Report back on what happens.

Took some Tuna sandwiches for backup, hope they dont make any problems for that.
  While on this topic untill how far can I bring fruits I brought with me? Going Tlv-Muc-Nyc?

you might get lucky. There was a guy on my LH J flight without a KSML. We had 3 and didn't want 1. The FA asked if she could give it to him.

All the reservation agent does is put in a KSML request, and if it's less then 24 hours the system rejects it outright

In order for it not to be a selection of double wrapped meals and still be kosher, they would need an on board mashgiach. Does anyone expect that?  ::)
