5. Average/typical KSML, would eat if hungry (Borenstein?)

Not sure why people even bother to request KSML. Even a peanut butter sandwich is better than catfood that will constipate you..

If it they forget it they're very remorseful and friendly, plus you get bonus miles :)
If it stinks, it makes them want to BYOK even if they normally wouldn't.

True, the real question is why do people rely on it. Just bring a tuna sandwich and you'll be much better off.

I switched my SQ R flight from SIN-ZRH to SIN-FRA in the lounge in SIN a couple hours before the flight. They couldn't get a KSML loaded on time although they did try. I didn't ask for comp...

Has anyone flown PR out of MNL? Any idea who caters their KSML? Apparently, they don't have KSML available on GUM-MNL but do have on MNL-HKG.

No kosher meals in business class lounge. The only kosher option I saw (apart from fruit/drinks) was Haagen Dazs - for business class, only lounge I saw it in is 'The Bridge'. Turn left when you enter, go to the end where there is a coffee bar. You can ask for ice cream there (strawberry, chocolate or cookies and cream).
There are also some kosher long life snacks such as bisli/pretzels in the contract lounge used by El Al - you need to ask and they will get you a box (this was few years ago).

And they didn't have out ksml!
I switched from lh to ua last Thursday but the agent on phone confirmed the ksml and I confirmed online on Friday.
Good thing I brought left. Over. Sous vide chuck eye sandwiches
We were able to split a kosher bkfst that another Jewish couple didn't end up having.
They offered 200 united crest or 10k miles.i figured I'd see if I could get either cash or more via email. Worst case I get the credit.
The FAs felt. horrible and were ready to hold. Up the flight for half  an hour but we said to just go. We didn't  want to be those people, and we have a 10am tour.
