Just got a Stogel "meal", ATH- EWR on UA J

Served on AA PHL-ZRH. Dinner and Snack (instead of breakfast). Dinner was pretty good actually, looks not withstanding, except for the fact that only the entree was hot, everything else was frozen solid, so could not eat it.

The snack was also served frozen solid (interesting experience eating frozen pretzels ).

This provider seems like they would make a very good option if the FAs would actually defrost the meals.

Probably the kitchen's fault for not defrosting. Definitely write to AA.

Thanks will do. AA agents have also absolutely no clue about the B6 elite benefits on AA, so they charged me for bags (they were talking among themselves how they got called in for doing a waiver the other day for someone and they should never do that again, and that AA doesn't train them properly. One agent went to ask a supervisor and the supervisor also said there's no such thing, so the other agent said that supervisor has no clue what she's talking about, and the other one also didn't know. I told them just charge me and get the bags on the plane, I'll get my refund from AA later. All of a sudden they were super confident that I won't get a refund and that AA charges even their elites for luggage, blah blah. ) Have to get a refund for that.

AA twitter DM confirmed before the flight that I get 2*50 Lbs (would prefer 1*70 lbs) before the flight but the problem is that you can't do it online and it won't work on the kiosk either so I had to try my luck with the agents.

Doesn't seem like AA would care, I complained, they throw you a voucher and call it a day, doesn't seem like the airlines would care to improve

You need to order 24 hours out, yet serve frozen? you need to order 24 hours out, yet are able to remove a meal from the aircraft because I got upgraded??

Without 24 hours notice - the airline arranged a few Stogel meals for me to review. Cool when you board and you see a tag on the cart with your name, and only we got meals served.....

Okay, say what you want, but surprising it was ok, some of it was pretty edible. Maybe fi they remove the fish from every dish it would make for better optics, but I understand the need as many refrain from eating Flieshing/Chicken-Meat but will eat fish.

Was ticketed in PE, and upgrade cleared "during boarding". The story with my meal kept changing on the hour, we have it, it's missing, you didn't order, till the final version that it was offloaded "after it was loaded" because I was upgraded from PE to Business. Seriously? By this time I lost track what I did get or how, but didn't get 2 full meals for 2 pax (I got some leftovers from others in econ or the one other in business)
