5. Average/typical KSML, would eat if hungry (Borenstein?)

I'm sorry I usually take a pill and pass out before the meal. Last I recall eating was a first class meal and I asked to clean up after fish, that part was fine.
If it's coach then you're always better picking up a sandwich from your local market.
On the way back, the meals are slightly better, though they used to be much better.

AA Business class JFK-Cancun, evening flight seems to have dinner. But the only choices are some chicken or ravioli but no kosher. I called AA and was told that that route/flight does not have a kosher option...Is that the case? Is there anything to do to arrange the Ksml?

In economy I've only received Hermolis (Kedassia).
Although I don't think I've flown out of London on United since they (almost?) went into chapter 11 and canceled their LON-NYC flight.
(It restarted when they merged with Continental who flew EWR-LHR)

For those of us flying in the back of the bus in cattle class, we sometimes prefer a heated meal. Although I personally wouldn't say that Borensteins hot meal is better then a cold pastrami wrap.

How about backpackers who can't pack along food for a week or two with three different flights? Not everyone travels with 10 suitcases. Also, what's wrong with Hermolis for example, I would even pay for Hermolis ksml rather than BYOK

Even in coach they can heat a meal if you're polite.
Regardless, a bagel with cream cheese will be 100x better than hot mystery meat KSML.

I'll agree with both of you that Hermolis is of the finest in the skies. Personally I've gone for almost a week on Merkos Shlichus without any hot food but some people prefer something mysterious and got over a bagel and lox.

I didn't know that you can get your meal heated in coach (I'm sure it's a big YMMV, but it's worth a try), I'll have to try that next time.

Ask in middle of when they're busy and you don't have a chance.

Odds are improved when you're with kids, etc.
