Optical illusion, or is the cherry pastry not much bigger than the little tub of margarine spread?
Lol. Real story. And the bagel looks bigger than it was. It was just bigger than the pastry.

was the cutlery & the plates sealed? or is it from the airline?

Cutlery and plates were from the airline. They setup table properly and then bring the kosher meal.

Not good at all. Main meal was frozen and inedible. No kosher food in the SFO Polaris Lounge either

First meal was very good. Regular kosher was veal, we also ordered kosher fish (salmon) and veggie (quiche). Each came with half bottle of wine.
Second meal was disappointing and small for 12 hour daytime flight
I got exactly the same meal ZRh-TLV

Breakfast - fairly good. you can request also veggie or fish - I got veggie  (couscouse + veggies) as I hate airplane omelettes

Hermolis, excellent (with the constraints of frozen meal). Same as business class.
For dinner there was also (not pictured) heated rolls package, for breakfast heated rolls and pastries.

Wouldn't be very exciting - almost all work trips, very little touring apart from the odd day in Kyoto
