Ok, if no one knows that, does anyone know if I'll get any benefits with platinum on my PB room in Ashkelon?

PC Platinum doesn't usually get you anything, Israel is not usually the exception to the rule on these type of things, but you never know

Does PC platinum not get you anything here in the USA as well? I have gold, headed for Platinum...Is there any purpose?
I was hoping it would get some sort of upgrade

I heard that you need to be referred.

I only need 10,000 more points earned by 12/31/10 to get platinum with PC.

Would SPG match platinum from PC?

If i buy 10000 points (the $30 way), when they deposit those points in my account, do they accrue towards elite status?
I know PC counts most earned points toward earning status, but would those points count as well? If so, that would be a really easy way to get platinum with them.
You need 60,000 points earned in a year to earn platinum. if 5000 points would cost you $30, then you can buy 60,000 points for $360. Then match it to SPG...
Thoughts?

(You can also get their credit card and get 30k and then only buy 30k more...)

The $30 method does not earn status-qualifying points.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I would think that getting the 30K from simply getting the CC would count towards the amount of pts needed to be Plat

misunderstood yur ( ) I thought you were saying get the CC and spend 30k , I now see it was get the CC get 30k and then buy 30k in pts and not spend 30k

Do U plan to be staying the rest of this yr and next in ICH Hotels?

if No then why should it matter. I was thinking over the samething but if I got the CC Id be Plat. But being Plat doesnt get me a whole lot so for now Ill remain Gold PC gave me 20k in their attack on HH. I just dont see myself staying at ICHs as much as I do MRs or HH

The Intercontinental chain which is a part of PC is very good and if you find a way to be referred to be a RA (Royal Ambassador) you have it made much better benefits then SPG anyday

How do you get referred to RA?

that my friend is the 64 Million Dollar question

theres something on FT about it, read it a while back, I never tried for it as I wasnt going to be staying at them. But all I remember was the benefits putting SPG to shame. and you need another RAer to refer you, at times they are being offered on CC on FT
