Also,
Google maps showing these estimate times from Jerusalem to
Tveria- 2.5 hrs
Tzfas- 3 hrs
Golan (banias bental area)- 3.5 hrs
Is that accurate or is it longer in reality with traffic?

It's in middle of the night now. When I put into the maps leaving at 10am it goes up... But is what you posted accurate timing based on experience

Depends on when you leave Jlem.

Planning an Israel trip, I have 2 days up north (driving up from Jerusalem wed morning driving back Friday morning). One day I want to do tzfas, what should I do for the other day? Does it make sense to go all the way up to the Golan and do some of the above-mentioned places there or is there what to do lower down (in the tevria area maybe?) that it isn't worth it to shlep up for a day?
I love the Golan.

Depends on when you leave Jlem.
Thanks for responding!
Morning. Was planning 9-10ish how long would it be then? Or is there a better time for traffic

I think 9:30-10am is probably the ideal departure time. Should be shorter than those times if you leave them, assuming there's no major accidents.
Took me ~4.5 hours from the WAJ to Meron departing Monday at 1pm via Kvish 6.
Took me ~2 hours to drive from Rosh Pina to the Jlem Shuk departing Thursday at 930am via Kvish 6.

Has anyone hiked from the top of Mt. Meron to Moshav Meron (Kever Rashbi)?
Is it clearly marked, is it a easy/hard hike etc.??

When driving in the north (between tveria tzfas and Golan area (banias, nimrods fortress & har bental) is there any areas I need to avoid or specific routes to take saftey-wise? Or just follow waze?

From yerushalaim take kvish 6 up, but any other info I need?

You can also take Highway 90 to Tveria and the Golan. Its a beautiful drive through Emeq HaYarden (and no tolls unlike Kvish 6)

What did you end up doing? I want to do this Chol Hamoed. I want to check out the Kineret and Meron as well. Just gotta figure out a tighter itinerary

I booked 2 nights in tevria. First day drove for jlem to tzfas (walked around the artist quarter and old city, went down to the arizals kever) and then drove to tveria. Second day went to the rambam kever then drove up to the Golan. Har bental was really neat. Drove to the banias but apparently the only way to see the falls is with a 45min hike... So that was a fail. Made for a lot of driving and a shleppy day. Stopped in meron on the way back down to tveria where we went to the kineret and ate at assado (never had worse serve in a restaurant).

I didn't research properly before, but meron is very close to tzfas - worth doing the day you go to tzfas.

Staying in tveria added a bit extra driving but we wanted to stay in the same place both nights and had to be back in jlem early the next morning so staying in tveria which is closer was ideal.

I’m not 100% sure but I don’t think it exists.
