What is the minimum $$ taxes and airport fees for a NYC-LON using miles?
And while I'm at it, who charges the least miles (and fees) for that trip (connections are ok), with decent availability (which I guess would therefore exclude airlines like Delta[?!])?
TIA!

Depends on the dates of travel.

AA charges 20k + $2.50 each way 10/15-5/15, including a stopover in the North American Gateway City.

+1 But has to be booked 21 days in advance (unless you have elite status) or you incur a 75$ fee
Flying blue has delta available for 25k year round +19.70

$2.50 each way??!  ???
LON-NYC has an astronomic airport tax a lot more than $2.50...
What exactly are you talking about?  Please enlighten me.
Where can I get a mileage flight from London to USA for a total of $2.50 in t&f??

On the way back you can book through BA via TXL.  It should only be around $120 in T&F. (Make sure to book them separate)

Wow, thanks.  Is that the lowest it gets?  Is Aer Lingus to Dublin any cheaper (t&f)?

The absolute cheapest way to get from nyc to lon using points & $ is take megabus to boston ($1 tkts avail) then use ba avios 25K  to dublin or shannon + $106 taxes ROUND TRIP then book ryanair or easy jet for $50 to london.
Total for round trip: 25K avios and $157.
Not an ideal route!!! But most cost efficient!
