Will Elal let you add a leg in USA when booking with Matmid awards?

Looking for tickets TLV-MIA.
On their website, they only allow you to search TLV-NYC. since they fly that route.
My question is, will they let you add an AA leg to MIA, included in their regular award requirements, or will I have to book this separately via AA?

AFAIK, You can only use Matmid for LY metal.

I think we should start a thread named: "Master thread: why is Elal's matmid program the worst award program ever?".

When I insisted to get this done, I was transferred twice, until I got to one department, which the rep told me 100% sure they can't book this. I took him to this page, and he looked at it, and told me: "this you have to book thru AA, call them and say you have Matmid, and you want to book this..."

I spoke to a Matmid exec yesterday, and she was surprised that no reps know how to book this. When I told her that one rep even suggested calling AA, she laughed.

Anyway, if someone wants to do this, and is still having issues, contact me and I will see what I can do to help

im not refferring to sole matmid redemptions, im reffering to using a combined elal  aa ticket or straight up aa ticket using matmid points, it seems that there would not be any possible worthwhile redemptions?
