Well, easiest would be if you listed the all-in prices for a couple deals you considered perhaps too good to be true. People post this kind of question all the time and usually one of the following: hidden charges obscuring the all-in, poster is affiliated with the website somehow and just posting the "question" to drive traffic, start-up site is promoting some loss-leaders to get on the radar, people unfamiliar with other typical ways to discount rooms 10-50%.

Treasure Island direct is $527 before resort fee/resort fee tax. The 22nd is the cheap day there. Other OTAs often have 20% off or opaque even less. I wouldn't consider $507 too good to be true and I wouldn't be worried about it at all unless there's something else concerning about the OTA.

527 is before any taxes?
According to this TA it's 505 with tax but not mainly resort fee which hotel takes when u get there. Won't be charged by them

If I read it right the $527 was after tax. The resort fee is additional and there is additional tax on that fee. Hope that makes sense. The OTA you mention is cheaper, just not outside the 10-35% that is often possible for hotels if you account for codes/ member sites/flash sales.
