If your insurance pays for it, chances are it'll count against you and your rates may go up. Why would it not go up just bec it isn't your fault?
It get's better! When they sent me the agreement to sign, I decided I want them to pay my court fees as well so I changed the $1,100 to $1,148 and they agreed!
And within a day or two I will hopefully have a police report proving that it was not my fault at all, will geico still try to raise my rate? And is there any reason to notify them about the accident?
I don't understand. AFAIK if you are completely not at fault your rates will not be raised. I once was deemed not at fault by my company and at fault by the arbitrator between the two companies and my rate did not go up.Also if you contact Geico they will be able to get you your money much faster I would imagine.
Who paid put the claim? Youruinsurance company, or the other party's insurance company?
I'm just wondering if I should mention anything to Geico about it at all and let them go to the other insurance or once they find out about it then it's not good for me and they can raise my rate?
if u want them to pay for the damage then u need to contact them. I dont understand.
I want to get paid but not from them I want to go thru the truck drivers insurance . my question is do I have to let my insurance know that anything happened to my car? and does it harm me if I let them know?
