List of Addresses for Paying CCs

Many times I have to pay off other people's credit cards. I do it through Chase BillPay, and it usually clears same or next day. This is not just for Chase cards, I have paid off Citi, Discover, etc. Usually I just put in Payee Name and Zip and chase finds it, but I just tried to do this with American Express and this did not work. The CSR on the phone gave me two addresses, one for East Cost and one for West Coast.

Anyone have a different address that actually comes up? (The ones that Chase is familiar with clear in one day electronically, instead of just mailing out an actual sheet of paper.)

Thanks, but for some reason neither of those are registering as next day payments with Chase.com either

Someone just tried paying my amex card, but they couldn't find it on Chases site too. They paid my freedom instead.

of course it is not same day it is 1 day only chase to chase is same day.
if you want same day then go onto amex and pay with echeck(need routing number and checking account number)

Trying to figure out what you're saying.  If I put the punctuation in the right spot then you didn't understand the OP's question.  He's saying that its not showing as next day payment.

Regarding amex echeck, he probably doesn't wanna do that bec it's a FR trigger.

I just found a previous bill payee on my chase account with this exact address, and it is a next day payment. When I try to replicate it though, it is a 5 day payment. So something must have changed

I set up a new one end of last week and it was next day.

Just got an email from AmEx today that a $1 payment was received, so this was in fact a 1-day payment.
