DailySteals credibility?

Hi,

What's the consensus regarding buying things from DailySteals? I am not talking about $10 items, more like $250...

I would like to buy a cell phone, but I worry if I have a problem with it, It would be dealt with in a 'excellent service' fashion.

Has anyone ever had issues?

The phone I am looking into is "re-certified" plus I live in Israel...

I wouldn't suggest buying anything refurb, unless there is a solid reputable warranty! (usually the best and most reliable refurbs are from the company itself...) otherwise you might as well get a regular new/used product on ebay... for a lot lot cheaper!

They've also been selling Chinese copies of products... in my case memory cards!

(FYI - I believe they are the same company as 1saleaday.com, due to the packaging that I've received my items in... and they don't have a very good reputation either...)

They only sell Chinese crap without any name brand just as an item, and what would you excpext to get if something doesn't have a known company name? Is that what your memory card was?

They are not the same company as 1sale.

I've been to shows that had a guy from Daily Steals and a guy from 1saleaday there. Unless they're superb actors, they're not the same company. Both frum though.

And now the story makes sense. So groupon must be owned by 1saleaday :P

Btw DailySteals confirms refurbished items warranties in writing with all their suppliers.

I once had a funny story with DailySteals customer service I'll post it when I'm by a PC

Guys. Guys. Lets first get to the main point. Buy ur item and buy it on an Amex. Someone mentioned u can buy from ebay .... Amex WILL NOT cover eBay items for the most part. (First hand exp) and Amex WILL refund u from daily steals, 1sale, cowboom and so on - no q's asked. When i refunded from eBay a broken item they said sorry it was used, of course its broke

cowboom is very good with returns, they took something back from me many months later when I had problems.
