Transfer Credit limit from personal to business line

If I am declined for a new business card/s can I call and offer to transfer some of my credit line from my personal cards to my business cards that I'm trying to get?
Right now they have given me pretty high lines of credit and I don't need such high lines on any particular card, I'd rather spread the wealth ;-)

I did that with chase smoothly.  I called right after i applied before they had a chance to decline me.

I tried transfering a cl today sapphire to Ink and was told that personal to biz can't be transferred

I tried twice very recently.  Both times the system didn't allow them to do it. 

I tried with regular  CSR.  I didn't try with the lending team.  I have a feeling they have more capabilities.

As stated its YMMV as people have reported being able to do it. At least from IB to SP was done don't know if the direction actually makes a difference.
