United.com has added a new feature which allows you to book patner award tickets. At the moment its only US and CO but its a start.
This is a massive plus for trip planning. Because of United's starnet blocking, even if you saw availability on a partner, you had to call up and find out if its available on United. Now it can all be done online.
Hopefully they will add their other partners soon. And just maybe get rid of starnet blocking.
