I forgot to buy travel insurance before I left, travel guard told me that they cannot insure me since I am already in travel status. Are there any insurance agencies which will insure me (BH nothing happened, but I want to take out a policy).
Thanks
You might want to find out if the socialist country in which you are has any coverage for you, I know they cover people with student visas. I don't think they cover for tourists but it can't hurt to ask (at your local doctor?).

If I am not mistaken IMG allows you to start coverage when you are already outside the USA.

I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Are there ANY travel insurance companies that don't have a deadline from your first payment to purchase CFAR or to be covered for preexisting conditions?

TY

Check out InsureAndGoUSA. If I am not mistaken the policy language (at least the NY version) states that it is ACA compliant and doesn't exclude preexisting conditions.

Thx, I'll try that.

Are there any plans that cover things like ear infection, strep etc. - not emergency? All seem to say emergency.

Why would say those are not emergencies?

IME those would be covered. non-emergencies are things that can wait.

I'm only saying that I've been paid on claims for strep checks etc on travel policies that cover emergencies

I'm pretty sure that they are covered.  I'm not sure why you're saying they shouldn't. If you're really unsure why don't you call the travel insurance company and confirm?

I have not taken any travel insurance.
That's an interesting way to advertise a mortgage broker site. In any case, it's been real. We haven't seen you for a while. We may not see you for a while again.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Reading through the thread I see a lot of ppl post that simply for cancelation it's better to go through the credit card than travel insurance. Does this mean to dispute the charge or to use their travel insurance plan? Booked with regular Starwood card.

I may have to cancel a JetBlue flight that I booked for Succos.
I won't know for another week or so.

2 Questions:

I want to purchase insurance today. Which of the safest company, to get a full refund?

Will a medical note for one of the travelers allow cancelling an entire family of 4?

Any information is appreciated

I'm living in Israel now. Been here on & off for two years since I got married. When checking square mouth for insurance I first put in Usa as residence & I got greata quotes, when I changed residence to Israel keeping citizen as Usa cheapest quote was over $200 for a week trip to Greece. Can I just put my residence as Usa or it's not gonna cover if I do that? Any other suggestions?

Israel has its own unique travel insurance plans. I'd say shop around, often through your Kupat Cholim, Travel Agent, or some do online (there's one called Passport).

For example, in the US it's very difficult or close to impossible to get travel insurance for an elderly person, while in Israel it's readily available.

I try not to deal with Israelis if I don't have to. Regardless, when booking my flights with daka90 over the phone I was offered insurance & took it but the guy told me that w/o tz I can't buy insurance from them. I'm sure it'll be pretty complicated with other companies as well for this reason.

+100 (with regard to anything consumer related)

Although Passport Card is supposed to be very good (if you can get coverage).

Would u know if I'd be able to get it without being a citizen? Otherwise I might try meuhedet now or my American TA.

I use allianz all the time.
I put in my USA address and the checks come to that address.
