In my opinion they are double as easy to claim from!

I really need it mainly for the cancel for any reason, how hard could it be to prove there is any reason to cancel

I would only need need to prove a medical reason to get the extra 25% not covered for any reason

It will come out to the same amount that travelex wants extra so won't be gaining anything

IME no one gives more than 75% back for cancel for any reason

True. Also, if your ticket is refundable and all you'd be losing is 25% (or 20%) of its cancellation fee, that's something else to be aware of.
