Which FF program should I claim for this trip?

Flying soon from APW-SYD-LAX. Booked on Virgin Australia. SYD-LAX is a Delta flight
Should I use Virgin American Elevate Gold status for the trip or Flying Blue Platinum for the trip?

I'll admit to having to google that airport code though :D
We'll have to work on getting you to post trip reports and pics ;)

Hopefully some Virgin experts will tackle the first flight but I'd imagine that FB Plat is the way to go for the DL flight.
