No, you'll have to upload it to tinypic or something.

You can upload as an attachment, if that's what you're asking....

so then why would you need a url for a picture from your computer?

You can either embed an image into your message like this:

For that you need a URL to a picture that's on the web.

Or you can attach an image from your computer which will come out like the picture below VVV

In the first way the image is displayed in the body of the message, it is hosted on another site (and therefore doesn't have any restrictions on size or number of pics). In the second way, the picture comes at the bottom of the message as a thumbnail that you have to click on to see full size, it gets uploaded to DDF (and is therefore restricted to 4 pics, maximum total size 512KB, maximum individual size 256KB)

I am new at this. I am trying to make my first TR. I have figured out how to insert pictures from my pictures folder on my computer into my report using the "insert image" icon on the bottom of the screen. But can anyone show me how I can insert a short 22 second video that is currently in my pictures folder on my computer into my trip report? When I click on that same "insert image" icon, only my pictures of my computer show up, not my videos; even though when I go to the pictures folder on my computer they're both there together...

You can probably just add a GIF, not a video. In what folder you keep'm makes no difference on the options here of course . You can add a YT link or a link to your cloud storage for videos.

Can't load video directly, you can upload it to any platform and paste a link. YouTube unlisted works well.

If I post that link in the TR, will the viewers have to click on the link to take them to, let's say You Tube, or will it come as an individual thing that they just have to click on "Play"? I'm asking because I know many people have You Tube filtered out on their computer but if they just have to click on that individual video to play, they can open it..

If you highlight the link to the youtube video and click the youtube button above, it will embed the video into your post.
