I guess not bpeh, I just don't want to take risk due to those recent cases of herpes.
You may find mohelim that won't do b'peh, and you may find mohelim that won't do the bris if you say you don't want b'peh. The mohel for my son's bris, and I would imagine most mohelim do the same, asked if I wanted him to do it b'peh or not.
Someone mentioned Rabbi Krohn and the fact that it's no big deal for a mohel from Queens to come to BP/Flatbush for a bris (unless of course it's Shabbos, and even then many mohelim will come stay in your area though it might not be worth the hassle). Along the same lines, I highly recommend Rabbi Krohn's son in law, Rabbi Perlstein from Far Rockaway. PM me if you want his number. My sister used him for 3 all 3 sons (and probably will again for #4 on the way) and highly recommended him, so we went with him. The shul we made the bris at gave us a pretty small window to daven and do the bris before the next minyan, so it was really critical that he was super efficient and timely. Plus he walks you through every little thing you can imagine and is really good at reassuring the mothers.
