My wife received an alternate side ticket in Queens this week. Does anyone have any good reasons to get it off? There are no mistakes on the ticket. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

When you send a ticket to a 'ticket fighter', you don't need any reason at all for the ticket to be wrong. They have their ways of settling with the city. They typically take 50% of what they saved you if they win, if they lose you just pay the ticket.

i always send my tickets to "parking experts" (7183845052) i pay them half the ticket and i never need to worry about anything else, haven't paid for a full ticket in years. I'm sure there are other great companies out there but i use this one and works well for me

I've been using parking experts as well, they're ok, but you need to be on top of them.

I never chapped how this works do they pay off a judge? Or find a loophole that the judge lets go by?

Or you can just pay the ticket. That's what we usually do when we deserve the tickets.

I didn't ask for any backhanded way to get out of paying but if there is a way that works which doesn't go against my moral character I may as well explore.

After years of drilling it, the City makes you beleive that you DESERVE a ticket. You dont. Alternate side cleaning is overhyped. Theres no reason in the world you should pay $45 for forgetting to move your car in an early morning rush. TWICE A WEEK??!!
Even parking by a pump, while i do understand the repercussions, there is no way to justify $110 etc etc.
So if there is any chance you can get a discount or the ticket totally dismissed, by all means, go for it. I see no MORAL obligation to pay. Its a money making law, not a moral one, just like you would try to haggle/coupon/promo for a better price with Jet Blue, Amazon etc without any moral reservations....

besides i would rather that a business made some $ off me, rather than the government. as you said, these tickets are not meant to discourage bad actions, it may have started that way, but these days its simply a fundraiser, and i don't see any reason to give the gov any more money (or power) than they already have

Only moral issue i have when parking is blocking someones driveway. Thats just wrong on a personal level.
Other than that its all just bureaucracy to me and ill take all the loopholes i can beg buy or borrow.
