trip planning
« on: June 13, 2010, 01:07:30 PM »
i am trying to plan a trip to europe and have never seen europe before. and i am deciding which countries to do in a 10 day trip

either ams  to cdg to vce
or cdg to vce to fco

can you do italy without doing rome? bec i am trying to do award travel  with star alliance and looks like alot more availability to vce than fco

or does anybody recommend a different itinerary. i am still waiting to read dans report on venice to see how that was

thank you so much

Vco is very nice and romantic if traveling with wife a must.

About availabity and such, vce is an end point, not so much a place you would use as hub (max 1 time per booking).
Check out the forum although maybe no trip report lots have discussed it previously, so look around.

Did you mean VCE or FCO or the combination of both?

whats vco? im refering to venice and rome. my question how nice is amsterdam and is it a must do city?

also the question is can you do italy with just going to venice or should you go to rome too.

also how should the routing go from jfk if you want to paris and italy. should you go to italy first and then on way home stop in paris?

thank you so much

the question is routing. do you go to rome first then take up to venice then fly to paris then home to jfk. or venice first then rome.

it looks like more flights to venice than rome

Time to Plan the next big trip and i need some help:

IY"H i plan travel (back) to the Far East and i need some ideas, suggestions of where to go. and the route.

Dates: 3/17 - 4/15 (through Pesach)

Countries: India and Thailand

Background: i spent many months in Thailand but i didnt make it to the islands, so i would like to give about a week for that (maybe a day or 2 for CNX).
Want to spend most of the time in India. im thinking about spending Pesach in Thailand with Chabad. (USM?)

Flights: United Business Mileage

Knowing the above: How do i go about with the routing (ex: which cities in india ) - flights etc...?

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.
