-1

at least in FL.

The first 30 days there are no points to consider, AFAIK

After 30 days however it turns into a citation on the car owners name. not sure what happens if there are two people on the registration.

I got a speeding ticket from a camera. It said the only way to avoid paying it by saying you weren't driving is by giving a sworn affidavit that you weren't driving and giving the drivers license number of the person who was driving.

in fl ( or maybe it was just Sixt?) a  notarized  letter was enough. I say maybe Sixt  because they charged my cc... it got a bit hairy ;)

Where did you get this ticket?

Notarizing a false letter saying you weren't driving, perjury? For a camera ticket???? And what if the brainless guy at the ticket desk hands the picture with your face in it to a detective?

In NYS camera speeding and red light tickets go to the car like parking tickets, have no points or record of conviction, and are relatively cheap. As far as I have heard, that is true in all the states. This is because they can't serve you personally, amongst other problems.

You can look for a attorney who fights parking tickets. There are not too many of them, and you are not saving yourself too much money, but hey, you could same something.
