Nope but when I double click the menu button it shows in the list on opened app and does work but its not on the springboard /weird

My only guess is that u used a cydia app like sbsettings to hide the icon or that it is in your last page and u didnt realize it... Or in a folder

You Guessed correct, it was blocked in sbs

So am I screwed?

I am currently running a jailbroken 6.1.2 on a Sprint iPhone 5.

When calling to unlock my phone, they said I'd need to restore to factory settings.

The only problem is that in order to restore I'd also have to restore and update to 6.1.3 (which is not jailbroken).

Do I have to make a choice? Lose my jailbreak and get unlocked or keep my jailbreak and not get unlocked?

No. If u back up everything and then go to settings/general/reset/reset all settings, it should have the same effect as resetting to factory state without updating to the latest fw

Problem is that you can't do the whole reset all settings if you're jail broken apparently.

I'm certainly no expert, but from what I've read, it is simply not possible to go back to 6.1.2 once you have updated to 6.1.3 if you have an iPhone 5.

At least that's what a Google search indicates.

1. Did you try asking Name Changed if he can do the unlock? He did it for me for at&t and i didnt have to restore to factory settings

2. Did u try to just restore from backup maybe the unlock will still work?

1. I haven't, but for some reason I thought he only did ATT.

2. I did the restore from backup on the hope it'll do something, but we'll see today when Sprint calls me back. I'm not holding my breath because that doesn't affect the firmware.
