apparently it was the ultimate screenshot that was doing it.

Yes, when choosing the application as a context, on the bottom is "not"

It is still relevant. That's why I was asking if anyone has a way around it. I would rather do every X amount of days. But I guess 4 cents a month will have to work.
This app looks reeeeally cool, alas it appears time intensive enough that it only made it to my TTD list.
Have you figured this out yet?  I can't program it yet, but I have an idea if you can tie it to another app and you have if-then capabilities.

I want to be able to control tracks i.e. play/pause, skipping, in Pandora with the physical buttons on my phone. Does anyone know of a way to do that with Tasker?

Do a quick Google search keywords Tasker Pandora, some of the results might work for you

Another one.

Who doesn't want more shortcuts on their homescreen without the extra clutter of folders? I've figured out how to get 2 apps launched instead of one, per homescreen shortcut. For instance, if I press the maps icon, a short regular press will launch the maps app, a long press will launch my flashlight app. Long press the camera icon gets me the voice recorder.

I did it by replacing the real app icon with a tasker shortcut to a task that launches a scene, that transparent invisible scene creates an invisible button on top of the icon that you can either short press for the 1 app, or long press for the other app.

My question is if there's a way of eliminating the first press, that when I long press an icon it should right away launch the second app.

I don't think you can capture a long press of a home screen object; that's a launcher operation to edit the object.

Any built in way to have a prompt? Current work around I'm using is to set a local variable to no and then have a variable query with default set to yes and make the task contingent on the variable being set to yes. (Sorry if that wasn't too clear)

Sorry

Basically I set a task shortcut on my homescreen. I wanted to set a confirmation prompt (pop up asking if you want the task to run) before the task actually launches. Was sure there would be a built in way to do this under alerts, but couldn't find it. Instead I set a local variable (ex. %confirmed) to a value of "no". Next step, I set a variable query for %confirmed to pop up with the default filled in with a value of "yes". Now I just wrapped the task in an IF statement that checked if %confirmed was set to "yes" before running.

Better?

Is that really more convenient?
