The people betting are usually betting based on emotions.

Nope. I almost never bet on my own team for that exact reason.

Last year shop discover had 50% on GC's to shop.nhl. It never came back this year. I need a throwback jersey.  >:(

My parents did that for me, and I'm a diehard.

Used that to get my DW a Subban jersey for Chanukah. Yes, she wanted one, and she grew up in a Rangers household. Seeing her tell her Dad that Rangers fans don't even come close to Habs fans after I took her to a game in Montreal was one of the proudest moments of my life.  ;D

I assume she was disowned immediately.

I figure if I get a Hull jersey it will be good forever. DW received a Sharp jersey last year for Mothers Day. Looks like he might be gone after this season. Can't wear that anymore.

Nope, my FIL just hates me  ;D. She also has a Price t-shirt, and can name almost the entire Habs roster (and recognizes them by face), but that's just me rubbing salt in the wound.

Private stream of all Rangers games.
Pretty awesome.
If not that, I have a method of manipulating  the Gamecenter app to allow me to watch any game.

NBC live extra is also free all you need is someone's login info.
Interesting. I have that Stream too

Just finished watching, what a great first game for the Rangers!

Good to see that the Rangers D turned Stamkos and Tyler Johnson into ghosts today.

Eta: actually Johnson had a nice pass on the PP. Otherwise, I barely heard his name in the broadcast.

From the highlights ( which means nothing) it seemed like the rangers dominated just didn't get the pucks to go... True?

I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible, but yes, it looked like the Rangers had way more real scoring chances. I'm curious to see the "official" scoring chances stats.

The Rangers hit posts, got lots of open shots, had many rebound opportunities and created a lot of pressure in the O-zone.
OTOH, Tampa offense barely brought my blood pressure up, besides for their PP, which wasn't so scary besides for the one with the beautiful play.
They also had a PP late in the third and couldn't get any quality chances.

If they were playing Calgary again I would do the same.  :)
What about the other game. You know the series to see who is going to be the Cup runner up.
I'm taking my ducks in 7. What's your pick? Obviously Chicago, but in how many games?

It was a pleasant change seeing the Rangers be the more physical team.

How about some picks. First games I will go with the underdogs in both.
TB and Hawks. I thought everyone bet on the games.  :-[

I hope you didn't put your life savings into these bets.  :)
