It sucks not having a team in the playoffs. Used to watch every single playoff game on TV. Have barely watched. So disconnected.

Well, at least you can watch your baseball, um, basketball, um, football team?

Yes but there still is some good hockey being played.

Yes, but and I love watching good hockey, but I'm not invested in it at all. Usually I'll even watch the other games because it relates to who my team would play next or in later rounds.

I think its more about the depressing season the Habs had with no real light at the end of the tunnel.
Maybe if the Habs were rebuilding it would be enjoyable but if your team is bad and does not look like it will get better you do not enjoy seeing successful teams battling it out.

There should be a light at the end of the tunnel because we have a strong core. Our management is just compiled with a bunch of boneheads.

This caps team is scary. 
The caps flyers game last night was not fun to watch.  That 3rd period was downright painful.

No penalty, no fine, no suspension.

And how about Orlov, who could've broke his neck on a dirty boarding?
Bellemare got 1 game. That's less than what Shaw got for mouthing a inaudible slur on TV.

Haven't seen the Letang play but that hit on Orlov was sickening. They always suspend for less during playoffs because each game means a lot more, but I agree, he definitely should've gotten more than 1 game. The only reason players still throw those hits is because the NHL hasn't come down hard enough.

Not a big hockey fan here, but to me it seems that Orlov bent over at the last second unexpectedly. Bellemere seemed surprised after the hit

I had a feeling this would be the year the chokers got over the hump. Picked the Blues to win.
Yeh it's not like they won the cup but both the Sharks and Blues couldn't have won a more important series.

Kinda annoying to me that the best match ups will be in the first round and a little bit in the 2nd round this year.
Hawks-Blues. Sharks-Kings. Pens-Caps should have been the ECF, as the winner will represent the East.

Meanwhile Islanders-Bolts. Both wouldn't be able to sniff their way out of the 1st round if they played in the West or even if they played the Metro bracket, but instead one of them will be playing in the ECF.
