I want the record books to reflect who the greatest were. He isn't a pimple on the tuches of Gretzky. 2857-1616 career points. (The real reason probably is, as a Ranger fan, I don't like him too much.)

By that logic you’d want him to break the record as he’s the greatest goal scorer of all time.

Didn’t watch much Gretzky, so relying a lot on what I’ve heard. But Gretzky scored 894 goals while looking to facilitate. If he was focused on goal scoring the way OV is, (if he sat in the slot on every PP banging his stick) he’d have scored far more goals.

Gretzky played in a much higher scoring era which is the only reason it took Ovi so long to pass him. Gretz is still the great one for a reason.

It's not like he scored 895 goals against you. You were just the one he broke it against. I'm not happy he broke the record, but could care less who he broke it against. (Not an Isles fan though)

He's had enough career moments against the isles. Let other teams share.

Unbelievable games the last 2 nights, first the Rantanen singlehanded comeback from 2-0 against his former team that dumped him, then we had the comeback tonight, unreal!

Watching more than ever. Playoffs have been unreal, OT's, buzzer beaters, and comebacks galore. And even ignoring the wild trade drama, I don't think I've ever seen a Rantanen-like playoff performance in my lifetime.
