But if the Rangers win the cup this year with his help, well, you don't criticize a cup :D
Don't think they will. Two years ago and least year was their best shot. Too many key players getting older.

I think you should look at the roster again.
Age will not be a factor this year aside for #6 defenseman Dan Boyle.

Nash and Lundqvist, their two best players, are past their prime.

Nash had his best season last year and Lundqvist is still on elite form (as easily witnessed the last few games).

Hilarious how you use the first three games of the season as evidence that Lundqvist is in elite form, but then ignore the fourth game when he let up 4 goals on 29 shots.

It's too early in the season to say who's in elite form and who isn't, but if you really want to look at his first few games, .933/2.26 is nothing to jump for joy over. (I'm aware that he's made a few highlight reel saves, but that's not the only thing to look at.)

A) it was 3 goals, and he played well
B) I'm not looking at just the last 4 games, his career isn't trending down just yet in the past few seasons.

I am not so sure about that. This "breadman" looks like a larger version of Kane. I am talking about on the ice before the wise cracks start.

The worst nickname in the league.

This year has been the nuttiest start in recent history.
Ducks, Pens, Bluejackets and Kings are all stinking it up so far while the Yotes are surprising everyone.
Also the Rangers (especially Lundqvist) play terrible in the beginning of the season but not this year so far.

I expect the Kings to turn it around this year.

I started watching in beginning of 2nd. Was kinda boring until Habs scored.
Then it got exciting with both goalies putting up a clinic and Price eventually prevailing.

Nope. Kreider doesn't have possession, so an actual check would be a penalty. The announcers at the time basically tried to say it wasn't a check, he was just standing his ground. I don't buy that, but it was a pretty weak check - I think Krieder went down mainly because he wasn't expecting any contact. Certainly not the worst no call you'll see.

So Kreider ran into him?  :)
