STL got rid of that tag in the first round. Proved it again in the second round. They should just give them the cup for beating the two best teams.

I was obviously talking about their reputation from previous years because considering the fact that the Sharks and Blues are still in, neither of them have choked.

Yes. 3 times. I held all 3 rings. I've worked with someone who was on their medical team and he got Stanley Cup black and gold (with some small diamonds) rings. solid gold. They are actually heavy.

Recent years have not been so kind to them especially with the talent they had. If they lose to TB look out.

Only 1/30 teams can win the cup each year.
Winning the cup 3 times in the past 25 years is far from being chokers.
Also, since their last cup, only the Kings, Hawks, and Bruins won cups, and all of them probably deserved it more than the Pens those years.

2009 is recent enough if you ask me.
They also had bad D, forward depth and coaching for a long time.
Far from being considered chokers, unless you want to redefine the word chokers to include 27 teams.

If Crosby & malkin continue to not produce and/or Tampa can get under Pittsburgh's skin and get them off their game (which has been done in the past), Tampa can pull off the upset.

Seems as if Stralman is close to playing. Not sure of his status for game 2.
