The Blues and Avs each have 2 "home games" in the round robin and they're the top two seeds, so that makes sense.  But I'm curious (it wasn't my thought, it was pointed out to me) why when those two teams, who will only play each other once, play that one game, the Avs who were the lower seed the home team in their only match up.

If they went by seeds the top seed would have all home games. These games determine the seed, I think.  :)
ETA: Qualifying round is going by seed.

These games determine the seeding for the next round.

But based on what you're saying the higher seeds at the end or the regular season have no advantage over the other teams in the round robin. In the qualifiers you see there are seeds and that determined who was the home team.

They just came back from 120 day vacation and looked great, I wouldn’t be too worried. The Rangers OTOH looked completely out of sync.

Usually the goalies make a big difference but they are both MIA in this series so far.
