We stayed in Lincoln, NH last August there was a minyan factory at loon mountain every day. There were minyanim Friday night and shabbos. We stayed at the Lodge at Lincoln Station.
Wher at loon mountain was the minyan located? Until what time did they have Shachris?

The minyan is located in the deli at the bottom of Loon Mountain, I think they have shachris usually until about at least 9:45. I think there might be a minyan this Shabbos at the Nordick Inn, which is down the road from Loon Mountain. Anybody know if there is?

*The Conway scenic railroad.

*Kancamagus Scenic Byway. Passes through the heart of the white mountains with beautiful scenery. At some point you see a sign that says "No Gas Next 32 Miles". There is no cell coverage either. There are several lookout places to stop and take in the view. Also you have a good number of hikes with falls, and several camping and picknick areas. The hikes are easy for most although there is quite a bit of climbing to do. You'd have to be very careful with small kids.
Among the places we hiked there:
**Sabbaday Falls.
**Rocky Gorge.

Any recent TRs on New Hampshire? TIA

Just got back from NH. Was there with wife and two small kids for four days.
Stay: Mountain Club on Loon in Lincoln.
Eat: schlepped along crock pot, sandwich maker, a couple of disposable grills and of course food.
There is a small deli in Lincoln that sells some kosher products such as milk, cheese, cold cuts and more.
Attractions we did:
Loon mountain: nice 4 person gondola lift, trails at the paek, observation tower and more.  This is actually located on the hotel property we stayed.
Mt Washington auto road: very nice 8 mile drive up Mount Washington, scary narrow road with two way traffic, amazing views all the way to the paek.
Clark's trading post: nice park with bear show, scenic train ride, circus and more. Kids loved it.
Storyland: fairy tale theme park, lots of rides. Kids loved it.
Canon mountain tramway: 70 person tramway with nice views, at the peak you can see as far as Canada on a clear day, trails and coffee shop.
The Basin at Franconia notch state park: nice trails along waterfalls that has caused granite potholes.
We missed many other nice thing due to lack of time and little ones that joined along.

I hear the kosher hotel in Bethlehem is building a brand new hotel right behind the existing one. (It's a landmark and can't be demolished.) can anyone confirm this?

I was told years ago by the owner that they were building a new hotel right next door and I did see a structure in the beginning phases of construction.  That being said, I don't know what progress they have made, if any.  When I last passed by it didn't look like there was any active construction going on.

No this should be a brand new development but wondering if it'll be open for the season.

As in something that is not right next door to the old hotel?  I was told that the new place was going to be right next door - then again this was years ago and maybe things have changed.  Try calling their number.  When I last tried to call it wasn't in service.  Despite the old hotel being a dump and it being pricey, we still enjoyed staying there and the heimish food was great.

August is pretty late for the season but glad to hear they'll be opening. The food there was amazing
