Fun spot arcade in Laconia NH. Old Sturbridge village in MA (they are having their major army re-enactment today). Sonnyís place in Somers, CT. Cabellas in East Hartford CT is worth an hour or two between the shooting gallery, the animal displays etc.Waterbury has a pizza shop with decent food and prices (donít expect to find more than the basic pizza and fries) that will break up the trip a bit. East Rock Park in New Haven CT has picnic areas with grills and a fantastic overlook- great place for a bbq.
Thanks! Not into museums at all, maybe the Sonny's place, but not sure if good for smaller kids? Shooting Gallery also not ideal, but is the aquarium anything to write home about? Pizza /BBQ spots are perfect for breaking up supper time, thats definitely a winner! Please let me know about your feedback on Sonny and Aquarium, and if have any other place/ideas.

Sonnyís is fantastic; well run with relatively reasonable prices, and enough variety of indoor and outdoor attractions to appeal to kids of all ages. The aquarium in Cabelas is just a few oversized fish tanks; the stuffed and mounted animals all around the two story mountain scene complete with a waterfall is the real show. Itís not a half day trip though- more of a stopover.

What are the differences between Lincoln and Bethlehem?

Also do we need a place with AC?

Anyone know of a nice good full day (or good few hours at least) activity somewhere like half way between Bethlehem NH and lakewood NJ? Looking to break up the drive on way back home, and wondering where to go. Have kids age ranging 2-11. Any ideas appreciated!
Lake George.

Boating, lots of water sports, Arcades, don't remember the names of places but there's many options there.

Is there any chair lift opened in the winter that lets you go down as well, without having to ski down ?

Iíve been to New Hampshire (Lincoln) several times before during the week around Bein Hazmanim and noticed signs for Shabbos Minyanim at the Village of Loon, Forest Ridge, etc. Can anyone who has been there for Shabbos fill me in on the best way to find a Shabbos compliant ( locks, kasherable oven etc.) rental for a few days during Bein Hazmanim within walking distance of one of the minyanim? Thanks.

I took a pic of the sign. There were half a dozen Shabbos minuanim, but I donít know my way around those places so Iím hoping someone who does can fill me in how to find a rental that works for Shabbos.
