Mountain Club on Loon no longer has the minyan factory it used to have years ago?
Don't think so.

How necessary is air conditioning in New Hampshire in mid August? Trying to decide if it's a deal breaker when renting a place to stay.

Where are you looking for places to rent? I'm not finding anything I'm happy with on airbnb.

Some colony groceries in the Catskills also charge $5 for a half gal milk, so for NH it's a bargain.
From what I remember last year everything was around 2-3 times the typical Lakewood price. Something like  $6 a fresh danish, $4.50 for a small package of cholent beans etc. I’m pretty sure the milk was more than $5. The selection is small but manageable but you will pay through the roof…

Hit or miss. If it’s a cool week you are good. If the weather is even a bit warm many of the condos can get uncomfortably hot if you are the type that keeps the a/c close to 70..

-1
They have the typical OU pretzels, bread and buns, and potato chip kind of stuff, but little if any real kosher items. IIRC years ago they had a small selection of CY milk and cheese but last few years I don’t remember them carrying almost anything at all  that is a kosher grocery exclusive kind of item. Definitely no cholent beans, barley, kosher meat or poultry, etc.

True but shabbos and evenings can be really uncomfortable especially in the lofts that most of the Air bnb’s seem to have. We had a downstairs a/c unit and the loft was still unbearable.

What price will be fair?  everything needs to be shipped from NY
who said anything about fair? In Alaska it would cost $12 . Doesn't make it unfair

Try looking at vrbo or https://looncondoconnection.com/new-hampshire-vacation-rentals/m/properties/

The furniture was a drop dated, but overall very clean rooms. I felt like i paid very little for what I received. (We had adjoining rooms. One room had a kitchenette).
The minyan was fine. It was made up of mostly assorted chasidim. That's just who happened to be there that shabbos. I don't know of there is a minyan every week, and even if there is, I imagine it's not necessarily the same people. There isn't much to do there on shabbos, so be prepared especially if you have kids...
