AA citicard Mileage Cap

I just found out today I hit my mileage cap on my citi aadvantage platinum world elite m/c. I was wondering if theres any way around that?

I tried that, they don't want to approve me. So that won't work. Anyone else have any other ideas?

I have no idea if this actually works but I've seen people reporting that if you claim your card missing they send you a new one with a new number and the mileage counter per year starts again. As always YMMV.
