The cost are prohibitively expensive and the family simply can not come up with the huge sums of money needed.
I'm looking for advice or help in raising money on their behalf.

call bikur cholim at their local and find out more suggestions.

There is a list of Bikur Cholim's around and you can try calling each one on the list. They won't all give money, but many will. I believe BP Bikur Cholim used to have such a list.

There is a center that offers good frum  therapists in Lakewood, covered by the state, and supported by our tax $.
