The point is all religions have ghosts in their closet. All leaders of these same religions are only human. To think any of these leaders is 100% anything is just not plausible. If you want to attack the Pope go right ahead but don't think for a minute that these types of things or even worse are not happening in your religion.

i understand your point, i was just wandering why would someone in a position like the popes (not just this one, and not limited to popes) have as much dirt as they do, i am used to the more respected the rabbi is the less "dirt" you will find on him, allot of them none.
 
if you dont like %100 fine, noone is, but its close and thats the point,
im not talking about someone who makes little mistakes, im saying that the rabbis that i am talking about you wont find any of these things

There is no official appointment, but it's one of those things that everyone just kinda knows. The replacement hasn't become 100% clear to all yet, however many would say his son-in-law Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky

hes not chosen, and dosnt opt for the position, its someone who has the most knowledge and kindheartedness that people just want his direction in life and law, and there are more than one (but only a handful that are known about)

A Catholic Priest and a Rabbi were chatting one day when the conversation...

The Priest is really starting to get mad now and replies, "With lots and lots of luck and some real difficult work and if I'm in the right places at the right times and play my political games just right, maybe, just maybe, I can get elected Pope."

"Yes, and then what?" asked the Rabbi.

"Good grief!" shouted the Priest. "What do you expect me to become, GOD?"

"Well," said the Rabbi, "One of our boys made it!"

Judaism is very decentralized. This has it's pros and cons. One pro as we see in this case there is less need for politicking. A con is that there is rarely a unified voice when it comes to Judaism's opinion on events.

This decentralization allowed a people dispersed throughout every nation on Earth to survive and thrive despite the lack of central leadership.
